So I built my first pc not to long ago everything works fine I've used wireless headphones no problem but when I try to plug them in directly it doesn't do anything like I never plugged it in. I know its not the headphones or the cord because I hooked it upon to another pc and it worked no problem. I was thinking it was just the case jacks don't work put I've plugged directly into the mobo and still nothing …

Do you have speakers connected to your PC? Do they work?

Also, it's worth a shot installing Realtek audio drivers.

Hmm... may be a physical hardware issue. Do you have any other speakers/headphones that plug into the jack? Try to see if those work.

I see. Try resetting the CMOS, although I think you may have a faulty motherboard.

When was life ever easy :')

What's your motherboard? I know on some brands it can identify if there is anything plugged in to the headphone jack in the BIOS.

On MSI it's called 'Board Explorer'
