So far I've only built full-sized ATX PCs and have never ventured into the world of the mini-ITX, so I don't know much about the little guys. So far most of the mini-ITX builds I've seen are breadboxes. Sure they're smaller than ATX, but they're so.. cubical. Not exactly great for fitting on my living room shelves.
I'd like to put together the tiniest, flattest possible HTPC. Something only a few inches tall if at all possible. A case that is made to use an external power supply would be a big help. So can you direct me to a few cases that will point me in this direction?
