I just built my new pc and started it up. It works fine and all but when I turn it on a screen comes up with the above message. I don't have any version of an OS installed yet and my hard drives are installed properly. Is there a fix to this error message? Edit: The drive is in the proper boot order in the BIOS.

Your edit is the fix. Unless the boot sector got dorked on your hard drive.

thank you, I'm still very new to building.

that is the message you get when you have no OS installed, which is what you say is the case. Put your OS installer in (usb or dvd) and make sure it is in the boot list (or go into bios and temporarily over-ride the boot to use it), and install the OS. Make sure the drive you install to is the first in the boot order as well when you are all done.

None of your boot drives have an OS installed --> Effectively, nothing is in a bootable state.

The order doesn't matter when none of the devices can be used to boot.
