Hello friends, I don't know how to post links here, if possible could you look at the above YT video at around 1:10 and at the bottom of the screen is a metal bracket with four plastic push-pins attached. I just opened this exact HSF, brand new, and that metal bracket has a lot of play meaning it moves from side to side and up and down a bit, to me a worrying amount. Granted I'm no expert, maybe this is normal, which is why I'm posting here. Anyone who could shed some light on whether this is normal or if I need to do something or buy a new cooler, please respond. Thank you.

Take a picture and upload it to us.... but if you think something has arrived damaged, send it back

This picture shows the main metal piece that holds the plastic pins. It is a little loose. Should I definitely return it?

I'm not personally familiar with that cooler, is the base held on by screws? Have you tried tightening the screws?

I know the plastic pins in the legs are supposed to move around to accommodate mounting on a variety of motherboard socket types.

Have you emailed the place of purchase or the manufacturer of the item to ask them if that's normal?
