I will be playing in 1080p with a 144 hz monitor, and I know it’s overkill for that but I want this to last me 4-5 years into the future. I wanna play AAA titles on max settings

I would recommend a G-sync monitor to pair with your 1080ti. Where did you get a 1080ti for $400? I need a deal like that!

Got it from a friend of mine haha, also my max budget on a monitor was 250 and tbh I don’t really think g-sync is needed, it’s just a nice edition

Damn. You’re good then

About the only change I would suggest making outside of the monitor would be changing the cooler to something like a Scythe FUMA Rev.B. It's cheaper, and will do a better job at cooling than the Dark Rock you initially picked.

what monitor would you suggest?

After seeing the prices on G-SYNC monitors, I'm not sure I would suggest changing it. I lucked out with mine and got a G-SYNC one from a coworker for 260 bucks last year, but I use that exact monitor as my secondary one and don't have any complaints.
