NZXT H500 Front Panel USB ports issue

So I just finished building my pc about a week ago but just today, but my headest which is connected to the front usb ports on my case "malfunctioned" according to windows. I reconnected it and it started working perfectly fine but if I apply any resistance in any direction, the connector on my headset wiggles/tilts ever so slightly and it "malfunctions" again. One thing I noticed when I first plugged in the headset was that it didn't slide in as smoothly as it normally does on other pc's but instead had this unsatisfying, bumpy, kind of resisting feel to it. I don't know how to describe it but it just doesn't feel the same as plugging in a usb connector on some of my other devices. Is this normal for this case and if not what could the problem be? It's not too big of a deal since I can just use the rear i/o ports on my motherboard to plug in my headset but very irritating since I just built the pc a week ago and I like to have things be perfect.

Edit: Anyone who has an H500, S340, or other NZXT case that has similar USB port issues?

Front IO panels are flaky and difficult to repair. However since the case is new NZXT might send you a replacement panel. I would email them.
