Just looking to play games at 1080p at reasonable framerates. I have the monitor, keyboard/mouse, so all I need is the PC itself. Oh and also I don't need a copy of Windows. So that's an extra 100 or something to be able to spend on parts. Thanks
This should meet all requirements, be able to eventually be a 4K beast, and looks good in black and white. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Going to be honest I'm really liking this build, was surprised you could fit in a 240 gig SSD rather than just the 120. I'll definitely be able to put in a game or two that I play the most and get some fast loading times. Not really sure if Mail-in rebates are worth it that much and this was the least expensive without them, so I think this is probably the best for what I'm aiming for. If the others see this, thank you for submitting your builds, I might get rid of this processor and maybe fit in an R5 2600 maybe. Do you think this processor is able to hold it's ground with games such as Witcher, GTA 5, Battlefield 4, etc.? With an RX 570 maybe, heard it was slightly under-performing the GTX 1060 3gb. Anyways thank you, if anyone else sees this, feel free to keep posting suggestions, I enjoy looking at build types and such.
The 2200G should do fine at 1080p, and the RX 570 I listed will do better in VRAM intensive games, and will hold up at 1080p high to ultra, as long as you keep novideo hairworks off where applicable
Okay great, I'll keep the processor then, thank you for submitting this build

This should be sufficiently powerful.
