GPU not outputting video

So my problem is that my graphics card is not displaying video like it had been a few weeks ago. The system runs off of integrated graphics fine and the graphics card doesn't seem to be the problem itself as swapping the gpu for another doesn't yield any different results. I have flashed the bios and updated it to its latest version and that hasn't fixed anything. any help would be greatly appreciated.

specs: Intel core i5 4460 Msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard Msi r9 390 8 gigs ddr3 1600 Ram Evga NEX650G powersupply 1TB WD HDD 120GB sata 3 SSD

Since the same results occur replacing the GPU I'd vote its a bad PCI slot. I'd confirm GPU is working by installing in another system if available. You might get a signal by installing GPU in different PCI slot but obviously that would not be optimal. Check warranty status but Z97 is probably long expired.

Bad PCIe slot is probably a good guess. I would also make sure that ALL of the cables are seated properly and securely. Installing the GPU in another PC will give us the best idea for what is wrong.
