Hi guys! Do you guys think trident z rgb or Corsair vengeance rgb pro looks better? And is the trident worth $20 more? Thanks!

If you can get samsung b die RAM, which you can tell by quick 14-14-14-X timings it is worth the extra price for some incredible overclocking potential. Other than that any DDR4-3000 16-18-X-X RAM will do.

TridentZ RGB kits (2x8GB), didn’t do all of them when I made this awhile ago

B-Die is also binned, so just buying the cheapest B-Die kit doesn’t mean overclocking will be amazing, and then some companies also have 3000mhz CL16 B-Die kits, etc. It’s generally not worth the cost

Hell overclocking RAM isn’t worth the time unless you are benchmarking since it’s time consuming and gains very little.

TridentZ RGB isn’t locked to Corsair’s RGB ecosystem and honestly looks better

Honestly, it's a matter of preference what looks better. Get what looks cooler to you, not what others would think looks better. As far as frequencies and latency go, that can make a difference between different models.
