My current motherboard is a Gigabyte H270 board and my CPU is a i5-7600k. I was thinking about maybe upgrading my MOBO to a Z270 board that I could use to overclock my CPU, but there aren't very many Z270 boards on the market and in my price range. Is it worth upgrading my MOBO now or should I wait and save up for a better CPU, MOBO, and a liquid cooler?

That wouldn't make any BIG difference if you OC the i5-7600K.

If you wanna keep that build setup for as long as possible and getting more performance out of it, i would rather upgrade the GPU to a faster one.

At least you can use that faster GPU in a future build as well.

Buying a Z270 chip-set board wouldn't make your build any future proof, as that board can't accommodate the newer Intel processors anyway. :)

Whats your price range?

100-150, but I think I'll just wait until I have the money to upgrade my CPU, for now maybe a new GPU...

If you can sell that GTX 1060 for a decent price, with $150 more you could get a GTX 1070 or even a GTX 1070Ti perhaps, if you find a good offer.

But the GTX 1060 isn't a slow GPU by any means.
