Dual boot by adding new ssd and win 10 on win 7 box?

I've got a Rift ready build other than running win 7. I want to keep win 7 for some older software. I'm thinking the easiest thing to do is install a 1 TB ssd drive formatted with win 10 home snd end up with a dual boot system. See any issues here? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Just be careful that Windows 7 doesn't try running CHKDSK on your Windows 10 boot drive. At least for me, that appeared to consistently munge my Windows 10 and my Ubuntu 16.04 installs. Once I found out, I disabled the automatic one on my Windows 7 install, and it played nice with the others.

Thanks. How did you disable it?

A better solution is to put one OS on each storage device instead of putting two OS in one storage device.

Get two SSD, each with it own OS.
