Issue with heat

My friends pc is constantly overheating when we play overwatch but we checked and it doesn't really look like hes doing anything wrong. Hes constantly having around 90 degrees on his gpu and he set the fans to default in afterburner. His specs are fx 6300 and rx 480. Does anyone know whats happening?

Hm... either some voltages are spiking unexpectedly but that would be odd but maybe the thermal paste needs a changing on the GPU. Can try adjusting the fan curve from MSI Afterburner's Fan tab and have the fans be turn on sooner and increased the percentage a little more when necessary until you see a lower 80 Celsius range or under 80.

How is the airflow in his case?

No matter how many fans you have, if you don't have good airflow then your system bakes

Not all fans should blow cool air into the case, some should exhaust it as well, blow out of the case.
