I currently have this (on Asus Z370-G and 8700K) : Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 [ CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 ]

Planning to buy this: G Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB (1 x 16GB) [ F4-3200C16S-16GTZR ]

I use this pc for gaming only. Should I Get the G Skill DIMM? Thanks for any help in advance.

Depends ... what are you attempting to achieve by swapping the RAM?

My gut would lean towards not recommending, since any small gain you might get from bumping up to 3200 would be reduced by going from double-channel to single-channel. You could also potentially see overall drop in performance (in FPS) by going to single-channel.
