Having trouble with games

My friend has what looks like to be a really good rig but there are some games where he just can't run. (parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kKVjkd )

He's updated his drivers and checked everything for failures but games like the recent RE:2 remastered and soul calibur leaves him with a strong stutter that makes the games unplayable.

Do you guys have any idea on what to do to try to fix this problem or maybe point me to the right direction to attempt to fix this for him?

Try to find some setting for your games and NVIDIA driver about using the GPU for 3D games/rendering. It might be using the CPU. Either that, or turn down the settings of the game.

If none of those work, or you don't like the settings, press CTRL+Shift+ESC to open up task manager, and end background tasks from other apps that you've opened.
