Reinstalling windows 10

I have a quick question. If I have updated my MOBO, then later on down the road I reinstall windows 10. Would I have to re-update my MOBO or does the update still hold?

The answer is no to "re-update" and remains the same BIOS version. You will not need to redo the BIOS flash for the most recent "update" BIOS version. You can reinstall Windows 10 as many times required for a new SSD or a new hard drive / hybrid or even repurpose one of these storage for any reason. It will not reset your most recent BIOS flash (update) that you may have done. And depending on the BIOS version too, some do note about not being able to revert back to a previous BIOS version. Usually when the microcode is updated to fix between supporting some new processor(s) vice versa for other hardware like SSDs, RAM etc.
