I've been looking at new laptops to replace an aging one, and the features most important to me are:
- a good GPU (doesn't have to be dedicated)
- a decent amount of RAM
- Ethernet and USB 3.0
- preferably under $500, has to be under $600
So far, I've decided on the Dell Inspiron 5575, because it seems to be a good laptop and is on Amazon for $460.
I'm also considering adding an M.2 drive, because a lot of reviews say the HDD is slow. The one I'm considering adding is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M9K0N8I/.
A CD/DVD drive is useful to me, but isn't something I need everyday. An external DVD drive is currently $24.
Is this a good laptop for what I want? For reference, my current laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3541 (it can handle web surfing somewhat well but Unity on it is very slow).
