Fan having a whining noise

I've recently built my pc and I've noticed the cpu fan is having a high pitch noise whenever it spins faster than 800 rpm base speed. It's the cryorig c7

I'm not personally familiar with the cryorig c7, but I do know some fans can do with a drop of oil from time to time. Try lifting up the sticker in the center of the fan and putting a drop of fine machine oil onto the nut/bearing underneath. I use singer oil, that my mum uses for her sewing machine.

You don't need much, just give it some time to seep in.
