Hi - So my pc has started to freeze up for 3-4 seconds. It makes a buzzing noise while frozen then everything resumes as if nothing happened. This has occurred while watching you tube video or while playing WOTB.

My machine is an 8500K OC'd to 5Ghz on an Asus ROG strix z-370 mobo, Cooler master 240. 250MB m.2 boot drive, 500MB Crucial SSD and 3 TB HDD

Built the PC in Dec of 2017 and haven't had any issues. Has been stable and works great. Feel issue began after recent Intel update to rapid storage Tech or bios update 1802.

Thanks for the assist.

im not too familiar with overclocking but it may have stopped running stable at that overclock. try lowering it.

i would roll back the drivers, if that's what you think the problem is, and see if that fixes it
