What would you like help with, exactly?

What's the budget and goals for this build?

Sorry for unspecifying. Opinions. I was also wondering if I should go with the 2600 because of its better overclocking abilities. The main goal is I want this build to last me 2-3 years, before upgrading, and to game, stream, and do my school work on it. The budget for it is 1200 USD ish. Thanks for checking it out!

You could get the 2600 and overclock it to get the same performance as the 2600x, but if you have the budget, just go for the 2600x.

Thanks! Do you recommoned over clocking the 2600x?

I don't see why not, as long as your cooler can handle it (which the Hyper 212 shouldn't have problems), and you were lucky in the silicon lottery, you should be able to OC it pretty easily. It shouldn't have issues getting a clock anywhere between 4 and 4.5 Ghz.

Dan your build seems to be pretty good. I'd lose the black thermaltake fan and use the one that comes w/ the case and put it in the front for intake. And purchase and additional LL120 and place on top for exhaust. Good luck with your build!
