The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled.

I'm not the first and i'm not the last. but i'm new to all this and i feel more better if it said "Compatibility Check: No issues/incompatibilities found." but want i want seems to not work.

what i'm shooting for is a VR ready PC, that is not a AMD graphics card, and will take a m.2 storage, but i feel like i wont work when it says see notes.

i'm sorry so bad at this.

You do not need to worry about the compatibility check warning, as it is only a warning.

Your MB comes with 24 PCIe lanes, the vid card will take 16, 4 is dedicated for the southbridge, and 4 will go to your M.2 drive. I would not recommend adding a 2nd M.2 drive to your system, as it would then share the 4 lanes across your 2 drives, and effectively halve the throughput speed of the drives.

All in all, it looks like a good build, and you should have no issues doing VR with that build. I might ask why you chose a 270 board and not a 390? I'm a fan of this board here

7700 will not work with a 390.
