I have assembled the motherboard, gpu, m.2 drive and made all connections. With no keyboard, display, audio or mouse. Windows 10 not yet installed. I just wanted to see it go on as a test. It does , and repeats what I mentioned above. Advice appreciated Ose

most likely it is either a PSU problem, or it's connections to the motherboard or i've seen it also be a problem with the CPU having a bent pin (you can unbend it if it is that)

Thanks for that info. Fortunately I just figured out what the problem was. ….Human error. When I was installing the 2 8gb ram chips I found it a little odd because there is one movable snap\clip for each ram . My manual shows that both ends have a lock clip for each ram. bottom line is I did not have either chip properly locked in although it looked like it at the time. I should have use better lighting so I could have seen the problem. They are installed now and the system stays on. Thanks Ose

Oh, D: don't worry I've seen other people forget that there are 2 clips on RAM slots ;D

Glad you figured it out. I was going to suggest removing all motherboard/PSU connections and re-establishing them.
