I see this on newegg so i know it's legit, but is it a good deal? Is the h7 quad lumi a good cooler for the r5 1600, or should I go with an h7 plus or something totally different?

i had this same cooler on my first modern-ish build with an i5-8600K @ 5.1ghz and 1.4 volts. even under full gaming load, i rarely saw temperatures over 75 C. for the Ryzen 5 1600, this would do beautifully. also, I think it looks really nice.

Dang that's a pretty high clock speed for an 8600K. Thanks for the info!

that was a a lucky 8600K. I have another one now that I've only managed 4.8ghz on.
