When you have a list that has a motherboard with 8 ram slots, and if you have 8 ram modules in the list -- when going to add a CPU to the list after those components are already added - even with the compatibility filter on, CPU's that can't support 8 ram modules will show up and you'll be allowed to add the part to your list. However once added, the compatibility filter will tell you that your CPU can't support all 8 ram modules that are in your list. If possible fixing this so that only CPU's that support all 8 ram modules would be greatly appreciated.
