NZXT Source 210 front USB 2.0

I was wondering since I have the Asrock z87 Extreme4 mono with front USB 3.0 header. Can I just plugin the USB 2.0 wire from the case in the USB 2.0 headers on the board since my case doesn't have the 3.0 in front? I just want to be able to use the front USB ports but don't care about the speed. I noticed on my board, I have USB 2.0 hookups along the bottom of the board 2_3, 4_5, and 6_7.

Thanks.

If you have a USB 2.0 header on your mobo, of course you can plug in a USB 2.0 front panel port.

If you're asking if you can hook up the USB 3.0 ports to a USB 2.0 header, no you can't, since the pins won't line up
