Case Fan Mishap (5v to 12v converter not working)

Hi all,

Regrettably when planning my build, I was unaware of the two RGB header types (5V and 12V). I ended up buying Antec Prizm fans (5V) and an Asus Prime x470-Pro motherboard (12v). I only realised this once I had pretty much finished my build. Note that the antec fans all plug into a 5 port controller which is conntected to the motherboard. I then bought a Deepcool RGB converter and installed this, see link below.

As far as I can tell, this should have provided a solution to the RGB incompatability, however my motherboard (Asus Aura software) is not detecting the new 12V 4 pin RGB connector or the fans. Any suggestions on what to do?

Also the controller appears to be working fine, as the fan speeds are detected and can be changed.

Thanks in advance for any help!
