I am looking to get a pc that will do gaming (sim racing) and copy music onto cds (so I need at least one optical drive) documents occasionally web browsing, and general pc usage . Kind of a family pc that is a solid gamer $600 to $800. Plans appreciated, also would be first build.

Will need a little more info:

  1. Does the max $800 budget include: Display, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc

  2. Including operating system?

  3. 600/800 dollars in which currency: USD/CAD/AUS/etc?

Hope this doesn't include race simulator hardware as that will drive down some the desired performance depending on your requirements.

If you're going to get this one I suggest a case that has better airflow and more room for cable management.
