Macbook chin bar broke

So, at some time in the last couple of weeks, the chin bar (the black bar at the bottom of the display with the MBP logo) cracked. It's not hanging off or anything, but the material is definitely cracked.

I have heard that it is replaceable, and there's no screen issues or anything, but is it worth it? Is it simple enough to repair? Replacement would be an option, but I've had it for less than two years and it'll be my third laptop since 2016.

look at a teardown and determine if it's worth the hassle
