So i want to pair a Ryzen 5 1600 with a Asrock B450M Pro4. My question is this. Do i have to stick with the supported ram mentioned on the website? The compatibility checker on this website tells me there are no issues with the build i am thinking about.

Here is the motherboard link https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M%20Pro4/#Memory

I am going to change the power supply and monitor.

Finding a similar Ram kit according to the QVL list would be advisable.

This one has the most chances to reach 3200MHz with that CPU and board.

Even though anything would work.

Dam, so many people just keep asking if their RAM would work or not.

Anything will work for sure, but anything could work at the highest XMP speed.
