I am pretty sure we tried to add it before, but complications came up involving the mounting mechanism

This motherboard is currently hidden as it is not compatible with AMD stock coolers or any coolers that only work with AMD mounting because Asrock chose to use mounting holes for LGA1151.

idea: register it as a different socket, like with LGA-2011 narrow ILM. Have a compatibility warning for the stock cooler too

Would be great to get this on here, is there the option as mentioned of specifying the socket used for compatibility?

The main issue is that it isn't compatible with the included cooler and is an entirely different mounting layout. This has not happened before and we are working on a way to add that to our current modelling system.

This just sounds like a rather bizarre decision by ASRock.
