Windows doesn’t recognize SSD

Mergatroid

I just bought a brand new Team Group SSD, and my BIOS sees it, but when I try to install Windows, it doesn’t show any drives connected. The BIOS shows the SSD, so I don’t know what’s wrong. HELP!

Edit: Windows sees the SSD, but it won’t install.

Have you formatted the drive?

(you can't utilise it if you haven't formatted it firsthand)

Find the drive in disk management, and format it from there

Now it’s saying “Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install Windows, restart the installation.”
