Hello,

I just built my first pc about 3 days ago and it was running just fine...I did some slight overclocking as well, but nothing crazy. I guess my question is a bit general as I'd just like to know if my setup is appropriate for what I have in my case..I did notice the cpu temp isn't exactly low when idle in the bios settings..it read like 55 C last time I checked. I'd love some suggestions or tips on how to maximize efficiency and keep a stable temp! Thanks!

Hey, the case you have on your part list is known to not have the best airflow. Though, it shouldn't really be worried about unless you are in a closet, or overclocking your PC to 5 ghz. Though, other Coolermaster cases tend to have better airflow.

Oh okay, is there a case you'd recommend for a build like this? Also..lately I've noticed my fans have been running even at idle, is this normal?

Hmm.. I'm not sure, also yes I do have a few cases. What is your budget for a new case?

Actually, sorry I misread this a little. Yes, it's normal for the fans to run at idle, hope that answers your question.

How about this? I actually own the RGB version of this, if you want to look at the pictures in my build. Also, it has pretty good airflow. The side panel is acrylic, just like the current case you have.

I'd be more concerned about temps underload then idle. One thing you can do is reseat the CPU heatsink.

I think I added too much thermal paste...I removed some and reinstalled the cpu cooler and that seemed to fix the issue so thank you
