[Correction] This motherboard has three M.2 slots: one 110mm slot, one 80mm slot and one 32mm Wi-Fi slot. Both the 110mm and 80mm slots support SATA and NVME drives and are available on all supported CPUs.

I don't think the E-key was what was missing. I made a build with this motherboard yesterday and I was getting a warning for a missing M.2-2280-M slot. That warning is still there today.
