Windows 8 Transfer

So I am currently building a new desktop that will replace my Asus G75 notebook (which has been fantastic). Anyway, I moved the pre-installed Windows 8 onto a Kingston HyperX SSD. That process went fairly smooth thanks to a software I found. I digress, would it be possible to transfer a.) my SSD to my new computer b.) my current version of Windows to my new computer, and c.) I also have a hard disk loaded with all my games. Could I simply reintroduce that drive into a new computer and get it to work? Or is all of this just a dream?
