Is it better to have the psu at the top of the case or the bottom???

bottom in most cases because if it become loose it wont damage components. it also doesnt make the case top heavy

I prefer the bottom, here is why:

It runs cooler in that position when placing the fan down to draw cool air in and exhaust it out the rear of the power supply.

Also, the cable management is usually better at the bottom.
