Clone Windows 7 to another PC

I've tried to do this by creating a system image and writing it to a DVD. The problem is The C Drive is ridiculously large and would take about a gazillion DVDs. All I really need is the D partition which contains the operating system. But I can't find a way to do D without C. Any ideas? Is there another way to do this? Thanks.

  • Plenty of third party clone software available which will clone the entire HDD. Some HDD manufacturer's provide free cloning software download with their drives. e.g. Western Digital.
  • As for "Clone Windows 7 to another PC", it is generally recommended for a clean install of an operating system in new/different systems.

Try some third party softwre, such as aomei backupper, which supports cloning partition. And its function"Create Bootable Rescue Media" will help you write it to a DVD. You must use Nero at the same time
