Overloading My PSU?

What do you guys think - I'm going to get your opinions since I have been known to fly too much by the seat of my pants when it comes to PSUs...

Right now I'm running a Phenom II and a Geforce 250 1Gb DDR3 off a Rosewill 350W PSU that's a few years old. Previously it was running the same setup except with a FirePro V5800, but I just switched it out.

What I want to know is Estimated Time of Death :P

Yeah it's coming up about 100W under est. load as this site sees it, but everyone's always telling me rosewill PSUs will die horribly if you put any kind of strain on them, so I thought I would see what opinions people had about a setup like this one.

  1. the firepro isn't better by very much, and in fact gets outperformed in some cases.

  2. the firepro may soon be needed in another build anyway.

  3. subjectively, my solidworks e-viewer experience is slightly improved.
