hey guys, quick question. Im wanting a decent/cheap pc for gaming. Im not the most clued up so any tips would be appreciated! would you rather buy

New.

Quad Core AMD 3.6GHZ AMD Radeon HD 7560D Windows 8 Installed 1TB Sata III HDD 8GB ddr3 RAM

or a 2 year old second hand system from a friend with the following spec

CPU: i5-3550k @ 3.3GHz RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 665MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte H61MA-D2V GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850 XFX Pine Group 2GB DDR5 HDD: 1TB Seagate Optical Drive: iHas124 W ATA Audio: AMD HD PSU: 450 Watt (Corsair)

Depends on the price, Windows Install on the Used, and some other stuff that is personal to how I would pick.

No doubt the used will give better performance if it isn't a wreck of damaged parts. I don't like the MoBo, but the used will perform better.

used is slightly cheaper, windows is installed on the old.

could possibly upgrade a few parts also so may change the mobo for the same price as the new pc?

I should clarify, the Mobo and the CPU combination don't make much sense. It isn't a bad PC if it is in working order with a fresh install on it. I have a 7850 in a secondary rig and it performs pretty nice.

just wanted to add i many want the pc for gaming, going to replace my ps4 with it. i will also upgrade over time also, probably starting with ssd new MoBo and ram?

Or would i be better off holding on and saving more to build from scratch? Would i get a better system for £500?
