PSU overhead isn't necessarily a bad thing. My rule of thumb is to have enough wattage to cover a second GPU and then some

it's still too much. Your power draw is only 370W, and adding another GTX 760 only gets to 600W, not 1000W.

thanks for the advise, but as you were saying adding a second one would only get to 600W, my build has a 650W psu so its not too overkill if i am to buy another gpu

ohh, I think I've watched too much on that price margin... The price is too much for just a 650W PSU. You can get a modular 650W 80+ Gold PSU from SeaSonic for 100$. It's not full modular, but you really don't need full modular in most cases.

You have a locked CPU and an overclockable motherboard. If you are overclocking, go for an i5-4670K. The K series are unlocked, allowing users to overclock.
