hi people! ill try to keep it short and sweet...and sorry if there are forum posts about this topic already! the only one i saw got deleted...

basically i just need something that will let me use fl studio with 0 cpu lag and lets me use 20+plugins (not including stock plugins like EQ , limiter , etc. )

and i also just want something i can play some games on...maybe some LoL or diablo 3..Counter strike.. nothing crazy like crysis max settings.....

for budget 2k is my real budget but after browsing this site forums i really think i can get something that i will enjoy for less than 1.5k..

as for putting it together...it will be my first time building a pc and i am really actually excited..even if i mess up...but honestly it does not look that hard... well i think thats about it.. i have a audio interface already, scarlett focusrite...so i dont know if i should get "audio drivers" or whatever they call em...

but i really just need a list of everything...including Operating system... windows 8 seems cool.. as long as it can do everything windows 7 can do..

THANKS IN ADVANCE

oh and if it does not hurt the budget ... color coding everything would be amazing

and i need a dvd burner!

These are parts really just thrown together, as a heavy FL Studio user myself, along with lots of Diablo 3, I can tell you that a build along these lines will run your requirements with ease.

The Scarlett Focusrite is also a good choice, use it myself!

Maybe even go with an unlocked i7 since your budget is good.

on both of your builds will there be an hdmi port? i need one for my monitor(S)

and since this will be my 1st time building a pc... will the only outside things i need be a wrist strap, screwdriver, and paste?

Yeah there will be an HDMI present on both builds.

Yep those items will be needed, you can pick up cheap PC kits these days that contain a variety of useful tools for PC building, including wrist strap and screwdrivers.
