What temps should I expect from a Hyper 212 Evo?

I just installed one (And let me tell you, it Cooler Master could really do well to think of an easier mounting system). It's in my Corsair 300R, both panels closed, running on a 4670K with integrated graphics and all fan speed controls disabled. It's running an AVG virus scan and HWMonitor. Following temps: In the Package row: (roughly) Value 40c Min 30c Max 45c

Are these temperatures okay for the cooler? If I grab a video card and turn off integrated graphics, will it help reduce temps?

As always I'll appreciate feedback.

Ambient temps? Any overclocks? Temps seem a bit high, but still perfectly fine.

Should I reseat it? It really struggled to stay on because the paste seemed especially slippery and the mounting mechanism was anything but user friendly.

Yeah if you think there's any air bubbles causing a bad application, definitely redo it.

I should probably use something less messy as well. The supplied paste was very slippery. I might break out the antec formula 7 I used on the stock cooler that worked great.

The middle screw on the cooler's mounting cross; will that hold it and the cooler together so I can mount it without the mounting cross moving out of place during install?

I have an i5 4440 under a 212 EVO, runs at around 20C above ambient when idle. The case doesn't have the greatest airflow.

a video card will lower temps, but I'm not sure how much.
