What can I do to improve my build without spending more?

What can I change to make this build better, but I don’t want to spend any more money. My budget is $1000 and I am already over so I can’t spend any more. This computer is for gaming and video rendering. I also wanted to make this computer have lots of room for upgrade. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mmhK23

You're better off stepping up too a 280x or 770 at that price point.

Parts you should switch to:

Amd fx 6300 for overclocking

corsair liquid cooling

Corsair cs750m psu (if you notice your list says what amount of power you will use)

Adata ssd and seagate barracude hdd

You might need an OS

dont drop $225 on a mobo. Get the asus m5a99fx pro r2.0

Msi 4gb gtx 760

The thing is...your build is very unbalanced. I mean you have a $230 motherboard with stuff that does not belong. I mean. If you are rendering, you should use Intel (Not an intel fanboy, but intel is better at rendering). Also, downgrade the RAM speed, and the 3 TB HDD so that you can use the money on a better GPU. I built something that should give you a baseline (it still goes over $1000, but only by like $100). It is more balance and has a 800+ Watt PSU for future upgrades. Also if you want to upgrade, get a Z97 motherboard. Has lots of room for future upgrades.

I thought that more cores means it can use them all in rendering faster? Also Intel is too expinsive.
