Just kind of a rough starting setup. I want to be able to max out games, at the same time keep the price low. Would greatly appreciate opinions!
Heres my list of parts; http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kpJBhM
that is a very nice proccesor. It looks like you don't want the price low because i look over all your parts. well this is my build which was the cheapest i could get. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zxwDkL . the hardrive could be an ssd if you want a real gaming so if you lower the price of the hard drive and get an ssd it would be awesome. since you spent a lot of money on the hard drive. the mother board is pretty goo but kinda expensive. that video card is expensive but it is awesome since 4gb is pretty awesome. Graphics card is the most important in gaming not the cpu. good memory but if you want multitasking get more. case is not important but for you just have fun making it look good. good power. optical drive is fine. maybe more fans. make sure your airflow is good. be careful with cable managment. by the way it is my first time building too.
Thanks for the input! The part I'm really stuck on is the motherboard. Since I'm new to this i dont really know whats good for the price. I'm also playing around with the case as I have seen the video card can generate high heat readings.
