CPU: I mainly choose the 6300 because of its performance for the price, and the reviews on amazon and newegg are pretty good.I don't plan to overclock as this is only my first pc build and I am satisfied with what I have selected.

Motherboard: I didn't want to spend to much money on one, I just wanted one that had the crossfire ability in the future which I plan to use.

Ram: I choose 8gb of ram because I have heard that it is more than enough for gaming. My motherboard has 4 ram slots so if I ever need more ram than I can just add more 8gb sticks and could eventually have 32gb of ram which I can't even imagine how fast that computer would be.

Storage: I choose 320gb of storage because that is all I will need for now I had like 10 games installed on my 250gb ps3 and I still had available storage after.

Video Card: I choose a 270 because I have a friend who games on PC and he has one and his computer can play Skyrim, BF4, and Crysis 3 on high in 1080p. I will most likely add another 270 for crossfire.

Case: I choose this case because it is not that expensive. it has usb 3.0 on it, it has a side panel, and it looks pretty sick on the outside.

PSU: I choose a 600w because I will most likely add another 270 and this PSU would give me a little wattage left over.

Optical Drive: I choose this so that I could simply put cd's and dvd's into the computer. What the **** else would I buy one for!

Operating System: I may get some **** for this but I have Windows 8 on my Alienware laptop and it is pretty fast and efficient so that is why I selected this. And don't even bother with replying about the OS you are just wasting your time typing it and my time reading it and then not giving a **** about it.

Monitor: I choose this monitor because it is 1080p and it has built in speakers which is useful.

I choose a wireless network adapter because I want to connect to wi-fi I guess.

The keyboard, mouse, and headphones I just randomly choose. I did want a backlight keyboard because I want to be able to see in the dark when I play games.

This build is going to be used for Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, The Elder Scrolls Online, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed games, NBA 2k14 and in the future 2k15, Fifa 14 and in the future Fifa 15, listening to music, and watching ****
