My first attempt wasn't powerful enough to run anything without crashing hard. Any and all opinions wanted please.

Maybe a better graphics card.

Change it to a i5-4670. For the motherboard, go with a H87 motherboard, or Z87 if you plan to SLI/Xfire, and want to have the ability to Overclock(though if you want to overclock, you will need the 4670K). 8gbs is enough for gaming at 1866mhz.

For the motherboard, i would recommend this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z87g43

Price isn't too bad, and the black PCB is nice. With the money saved, you should upgrade your CPU to a R9-270 or GTX 760.

-8GB of RAM is enough for gaming

-a PSU is missing
