Hey guys looking to upgrade from my 6 year old amd x2 550/gtx 650 ti setup to my first gaming pc! (First time putting a pc together aswell)

This is what I came up with for my $1000 budget, im interested in playing bf3/bf4/bf:Hardline/TC:Divison/Dayz as well as various other steam/origin games on ultra. For anybody wondering I will be using just 1 monitor for this build, I would also like to have a motherboard with Sli just incase I deceide to sli in the future.

I would love to hear any suggestions/feedback for my first gaming pc, thanks for your time guys!

Unfortunately in Canada prices are a little more expensive ):

For the budget, you did very well. My only recommendations are to drop the thermal compound (the h55 already has it applied, so it's not needed), and go with a cheaper case so you can spend more on the gpu

Looks solid. I was gonna say that ram looked kind of pricy, but I see you have a combo deal on it. Nice build!

You could get a SSD and the same specs with this build. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Zveir/saved/HMtQzy

Ah Canada dollars. Oh how I hate that there is only a slight difference in the value of them. Makes helping others such a pain.
