I want to keep it around $1000. This will be used for gaming, schoolwork and internet browsing with no video editing/rendering, photoshop, 3D stuff, etc.

I don't plan on overclocking or anything like that.

I also would like to add speakers, anything under ~$30 that is at least ok quality that will last a long time would be nice. I also only want a two piece speaker set because I don't have a lot of extra room on my desk. Any speaker suggestions?

The other thing I was looking at was switching out the i5 for an AMD FX-8350 and the motherboard for a 970 or 990fx to have the future potential to overclock. But then I would have to spend money on coolers and stuff, which is why I'm leaning toward the i5 right now.

Any suggestions?

Get a cheaper wifi adapter, they all do the same thing.
