Someone told me that I should pre-order this https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54690k but I don't feel like waiting so I was wondering if there's something as good or better around the same price or I should wait for this one to come out?

Thanks for the help!

I would go with a 4790k. those are like the 4770k's but with better over clocking capabilities and works with a z97 motherboard

I'm not planning on over clocking, should I still go with the 4790k?

I would. If you do you see a bout a 20-30% increase in performance. If you do end up overlclocking then change your cpu cooler

I already bought everything and it's sitting next to me... that's why it's hard for me to wait for the CPU!

Oh I bought 8GB of RAM not 16.
