This is my build. I spent a lot of time compiling it. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/lostInplace/saved/YZDJ7P

Please give me feedback! I am probably going to order in a week or two. Anything I can do better for less? Are all of these parts reliable? Thanks guys. Please, note that I cannot go much higher in price.

With that budget, I would invest more in the ram if I where you.

Ok. Anything you suggest?

Just my personal opinion would be the vengeance pro or dominator corsair series unless you need low profile memory.

You can buy 2 290x for that price which will outperform the 780 sli. And get 2x4gb for the ram, dual channel is faster.

Ok. I am looking into two 290x's vs two 780s. Thanks!

This is the build. I dropped to i5 and added a SSD. You wont notice the difference between the i5 and i7 unless you need hyperthreading. Ah 2x4gb ram. And 290x crossfire.

Remember the SSD will make your rig faster but not increasing FPS while gaming. Just better loading times.

  • 1 point

Yes, I know. I dont really have a need for SSDs though, I am quite patient. With my current rig, it takes about 45 minutes to boot up with 7TB XD

45 minutes.... to boot.....Props to you there's no way I would be able to live with that....
