Primarily will be used for gaming and everday web browsing. Starting to get into some light photo and video editing. I would also like to record some gameplay. I'm thinking the i7 build will offer a bit more longetivity and upgradeability. I would like this to last me for maybe 5-ish years or so. What do you guys think? I'm also open to options on any of these parts that are not marked as purchased.

As far as the future goes, the i7 would be the better choice. Only reason it is better for the i7, is because it has more horsepower for the future in applications, especially with video/photo editing. It will also have enough horsepower for games as well. I think its a good bet for the i7.
