I'm a few weeks away from ordering the parts, and I need opinions. My intention is 1080p gaming, but I'm very interested in 1440p gaming, and possibly 4k if I can hit 30fps on most games.
Some things to look at for my build are my CPU/GPU combo and my case. Could this R9 290 hit 60fps on max settings for 1080p? What about 1440p? Could it hit 30fps max settings on 4k? How does the 290 stack up with the 280x? Will the 280x hit 60fps max settings on 1440p?
Could I go with an i5 4430 CPU with this 290? Will there be a bottleneck? I do not plan on overclocking.
Is this case I selected alright? Does it work with the selected case fan? Is one fan enough?
Also, is the motherboard alright in general?
Again, I do not plan on overclocking anything.
